Supreme Court Establishes Dec. 28 Deadline for Submitting Comments on Proposed Amendments to Board Rules

The Board has proposed that the Supreme Court adopt a number of changes to the Board’s procedural rules. The Supreme Court has set a December 28 deadline to submit comments on the proposed amendments. The Court order, the Board’s petition for rule changes, and the proposed changes are available here.
The Board’s petition contains an error in paragraph 7. The last sentence of the paragraph states that no judge has ever asked for a hearing on a proposed admonition. In 2010, a judge requested and received a hearing on an admonition.
